Formation Resource Library

The Forma Resource Library is an exclusive member benefit — a centralized, searchable platform composed of recommendations, materials, and resources for Christian formation, curated by and for Forma members.

A community-built collection, always growing

Every resource in the library has been crowdsourced from Forma members: formation professionals sharing what has worked in their own contexts, for the benefit of the wider community. And the library doesn’t stand still — we’re continually adding new resources drawn from our Spotlight on events, Wednesday Workshops, conferences, and curated posts from the Forma Facebook group. Every Forma gathering is a chance to grow what’s available to you.

These materials have not been formally reviewed or endorsed by Forma, Lifelong Learning, or Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS), and we encourage users to exercise their own discernment when selecting resources. As always, it is best practice to research the theology of each resource and make adaptations appropriate to your context.

Free to use, with credit

All original resources and recommendations in the library have been shared with the creator’s permission. You are welcome to use and adapt them in your own ministry — we simply ask that you give credit to the original creator.

Share your work with the community

The Forma Resource Library grows through the generosity of its members. If you have created materials, resources, or ideas that might benefit other formation professionals, we invite you to contribute.

Forma retains the right to curate resources posted in the Forma Facebook group for inclusion in the Resource Library.
