St. James’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) Director of Children’s Ministry. St. James’s is a vibrant, urban church in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. The Director of Children’s Ministry will oversee the nurture and formation of children from birth through fifth grade and will be proactive in visioning with the Rector, staff, and lay leaders to deepen and expand a vibrant ministry that integrates the formation of the whole child into the Body of Christ, and life of the family. The Director of Children’s Ministries will have responsibilities in the following key areas: visioning & strategizing, formation (Sunday school, children’s chapel, baptismal & Eucharist education, and special events), relationship building & outreach, and administration & communications.
